Return & Refund Policy

At Let It Fly, we stand behind the products we sell and want you to feel confident in your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’ll do our best to help.

Returns & Exchanges

  • Return window: Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of purchase.

  • Condition: Items must be new, unused, unworn, and in resellable condition, with original packaging and tagswhen applicable.

  • Proof of purchase: A receipt or other proof of purchase is required.

Refunds

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original form of payment.

  • Card refunds may take 3–7 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.

Items We Can’t Accept for Return

Due to product integrity and hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns on:

  • Flies (including custom or hand-tied flies)

  • Leader, tippet, fly line, and other spooled/cut-to-length items

  • Clearance / final sale items

  • Gift cards

Waders, Boots & Apparel

  • Waders, boots, and apparel may be returned or exchanged within 30 days if they are clean, unused, and in resellable condition with original packaging and tags.

  • If a product has a manufacturer defect, we will help you navigate the manufacturer warranty process and/or determine the best solution.

Defective or Damaged Items

If you believe an item is defective or was damaged, please contact us or bring it in as soon as possible. We’ll review the situation and work toward an exchange, refund, or warranty solution, depending on the product and circumstances.

Special Orders

Special orders may require a deposit and may be non-refundable once placed. We’ll confirm details before ordering.

Online Orders (if applicable)

If you place an order online:

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or we shipped the wrong item.

  • Returns must be shipped back within 30 days of delivery, in new/unused condition with original packaging.
