Local Outfitters & Fly Fishing Guides

Looking for a guided day on the water around Pagosa Springs? Let It Fly doesn’t guide trips in-house—instead, we work closely with some of the best outfitters and guides in the area to help match you with the right trip for your dates, skill level, and goals.

Because we’re plugged into the local fly-fishing community, we can often help you find opportunities on both public and private water that aren’t always obvious through a quick search. Tell us what you’re after and we’ll point you in the right direction—then we’ll make sure you’re outfitted with the right flies and gear for the conditions.

How It Works

Tell us your dates + group size
Tell us your experience level (beginner, intermediate, advanced)
Tell us what you want from the day

easy walk-and-wade vs more technical
scenery and fun vs trophy hunting
half day vs full day (based on guide availability)

From there, we’ll recommend the best fit from our local network. You’ll book directly with the outfitter/guide, and we’ll help you get dialed on flies, rigging, and what to expect.

Trip Types

Walk & Wade

Perfect for creeks and smaller water, or anyone who wants a classic day on foot.

Full-Day River / Tailwater Style Trips

Great for anglers who want more time on the water and a more “dialed” approach.

Private Water Opportunities

Availability changes, but we can often connect anglers with private-water options through trusted local relationships.

(Trip type options depend on season, flows, and guide availability.)

What to Bring

Here is a quick checklist of items you might need while out on a trip.

  • Rain jacket (always smart)

  • Water + snacks

  • Valid Colorado fishing license

  • Any waders/boots you prefer (ask us about gear recommendations)

Not sure what you need? Stop in and we’ll help you prepare.
